Is That Natural Arthritis Remedy A Scam?

Some of the natural arthritis remedies on the market are based on sound medical information. Others have ingredients that have been used for years to treat the symptoms of arthritis. But unfortunately there are a few products that are marketed by underhand techniques and are worthless. In short they are a con carried out by scamsters.

The market for arthritis remedies is huge. With over 20 million Americans suffering from the condition and no known cure, many turn to alternative therapies to find relief. And who can blame them. If you have arthritis yourself or live with someone with the disease you’ll know how disabling it can be. Not only do you suffer the pain and discomfort of the disease itself, but you can find yourself not being as mobile as you’d like to be. Things you used to take for granted like walking up the stairs to bed, now seem a colossal task.

Because of this high demand for a natural arthritis remedy, various companies (both good and bad) have been attracted to the market. Whereas some products may help alleviate your symptoms, others will have only one result – and that’s to empty your wallet. So how do you know if the product you are thinking of buying is a scam or not.

Here are some warning signs that a natural arthritis remedy product maybe a fraud:

1. It is only advertised in the back of a magazine, or by advert in a tabloid paper.

2. It is claimed to be a miracle ‘cure’. There is no known cure for arthritis. All of the treatment options available aim to reduce the symptoms

3. It is promoted as a ‘secret’ formula. Reputable companies share the results of their scientific research with peers

4. The only ‘proof’ that it works is by testimonials from people who have used the product. These could quite easily be made up. All professional product producers who are confident that their product works would be happy to see them put to the test in a proper clinical trial.
